A character from the "Project Barque" whom we never seen. Francis- wonderful, strong, huge, handsome LADY, who taught Johnsen the joys of love ;)

I'm not sure what's wrong with Johnsen's taste... everyone of his kind are in his taste :shrug:

Francis and Johnsen are my OCs.

This is what I love about your characters, their all so true. Each one is as unique and different as real people. So many people, myself included, tend to have a type that they draw or write about. I try to make them as different as possible but sometimes they can be rather similar; you on the hand have a knack for making each one like a snowflake. :) This just kind of made me think of that, didn't really have that much to do with the pic itself. LOL

Oh that sounded like a music to my ears. I work hard to make them different looking, but in my eyes they are still too alike. Though I'm doing a little better than earlier :)
How can he written characters the same? Writing describes personality way better than drawing

Well of course they'll look somewhat the same, part of that is your own artistic style. Honestly though, your style is one of the most versatile ones I've seen with also being automatically recognizable as your work. True, writing describes a persons personality better than a drawing, for the most part, but it can be easy to fall into using a certain type of character too much. Even though I try to have characters that are their own person and unique but I tend to also create characters that can be similar character types. Some of that maybe because of my own personality and experiences, their personality types that I can relate to and know enough about. Broadening that spectrum can be difficult but the stories you have behind the characters you draw are vast and full. At times I'm a little jealous that you have such a wide range of character types. But then every artist puts themselves into their work and the more vast your experiences, the most rich and full a persons work becomes. So I suppose that means I need to broaden my horizons some. :XD:

My style is versatile? That is the first time I hear anything like that...but, again. I never got to discuss my style with anyone ^^;
I only can say that my traditional and digital - it's two completely different styles.

Actually I use the similar characters type also(I think so), because all they get the part of me too. It really is easier imagine a character's behavior if you think how would you behave in such situation.
But, I guess, in drawings you can't tell it behind their looks, which are absolutely no part of me, just my taste :)

Haha, maybe you're right with the conclusion. If to think - even if I am super lazy anti-socialistic person, I still always search adventures on my big butt to have "something to remember when I'm old" XD

Of course all that is my opinion too. Other people may say different. :shrug: But yes I think you're art has quite a nice variety to it. :D

She totally has! And I like her too :)

She supposed to look this way, she behaves like a man a lot too.
I don't know if it was the reason Johnsen was with her, he seems to love everyone with "barque" marks :D But she took advantage of this loving in her favor. No one was against it :D
